The Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers has an upfront, fruit-driven bouquet with pure raspberry, wild strawberry and dried rose petal aromas that unfurl in the glass. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannin, gentle at first but segueing into quite a structured and multi-layered finish with edgy redcurrant and crushed strawberry notes on the finish. This is excellent.
