Isle of Raasay Distillery operates from the Inner Hebridean island of Raasay, located between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland. The distillery produces both whisky and gin, representing one of the newer additions to Scotland's distilling landscape on this small island with a population of around 160 residents.

The distillery draws water from the Tobar na Ba Baine spring and incorporates local botanicals in their gin production, reflecting the island's maritime environment and unique terroir. Raasay's position in the Inner Hebrides provides access to coastal botanicals and the influence of Atlantic weather patterns, which can impact both the growing conditions for botanicals and the maturation environment for spirits.
