Medium ruby-red with tears forming on the glass. The aromas start with a milkiness, that integrates well with red, raspberry fruit, opening to notes of ripe, red-plum & richer damson fruit, a licorice core & cinnamon hints. The wine is medium-bodied with good tannic grip, attractive juiciness & fresh acidity. The tannins are ripe & supple so are not astringent. Warming alcohol combines with developed pruney notes on a long, fresh finish.
