Château La Fleur-Pétrus is a wine estate located in Pomerol, one of Bordeaux's most prestigious right bank appellations. The property sits on the elevated plateau of Pomerol, where the gravelly soils mixed with clay provide ideal growing conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The estate produces exclusively red wine under the Pomerol appellation.

Pomerol is renowned for its Merlot-based wines that display remarkable elegance and complexity. The appellation's unique terroir, characterized by iron-rich clay subsoils beneath gravel and sand, creates wines with distinctive mineral character and exceptional aging potential. The finest examples achieve remarkable depth and ageability despite their approachable, velvety texture at release. Production remains limited and fragmented among numerous small proprietors, many family-owned, which contributes to the appellation's exclusivity and the significant variation in style between individual estates.
