“Come quickly, I am tasting the stars!” Quote attributed to Dom Pérignon (1638-1715) and made popular in a print advertisement in the 1880s. Indulge yourself in the luxurious world of sparkling wine with our Champagne jigsaw puzzle. Delicately hand-illustrated, it showcases the prestigious Champagne region of France, home to the world's finest bubbly, and celebrates the region's rich history and culture. Curated in collaboration with Master of Wine and champagne specialist Essi Avellan, the puzzle highlights the main regions of Champagne, all 17 Grand Cru villages, and maps out the grape varieties that make this celebrated wine style, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Unwrap the box to discover extra information inside, and learn about the unique production process called "méthode champenoise" and the primary grape varieties that shape this iconic wine.

In 1668, Dom Pérignon is said to have discovered how to make sparkling wine; today his technique is used the world over, although Champagne continues to make some of the finest. France’s most northerly wine region, Champagne is now home to 15,000 growers and 290 ‘houses’. A blend of grape varieties is usually required: white Chardonnay to add fruit and elegance, and two reds – Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – to provide body and backbone.
