Domaine De La Madone is a wine producer based in Le Perréon, a village situated in the heart of the Beaujolais Villages appellation in southern Burgundy. Le Perréon sits in the granite-rich hills that characterize the northern part of the Beaujolais region, an area where the interplay of soil composition and continental climate shapes wines of notable character.

Beaujolais Villages is a step above the broader Beaujolais appellation, drawing fruit from 38 named communes across the region's more elevated and geologically varied terroirs. The appellation is planted almost exclusively with Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc, a variety that expresses differently depending on whether it grows in the granite and schist soils of the north or the clay and limestone of the south. Wines from Le Perréon, grown on granitic terrain, tend toward red fruit aromatics, floral notes, and a lively acidity with a degree of mineral grip.
