"Colonia Las Liebres is now an organic (certified) range, of which the classical 2019 Colonia Las Liebres Bonarda Clásica comes from a warm year. Almost six hectares were parral planted in 2007 and were the first to be certified organic. The wine keeps the freshness and has unusual floral and elegant aromas. It's 10% carbonic maceration in stainless steel, and the aging was in concrete. It's always around 13% alcohol. Over the years, this range has become less extractive and ripe. Still unbottled, it becomes more elegant with time in the glass." - Robert Parker 90/100

Mendoza’s wine region is over 350,000 acres (144,000 hectares) of planted vineyards, and produces nearly two-thirds of the country’s wine. Argentina’s most highly rated Malbec wines originate from Mendoza’s high altitude wine regions of Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. These areas are in the foothills of the Andes mountains, with elevations of between 2,800 and 5,000 feet.
