To produce its creams, liqueurs, aperitifs and eaux-de-vie, Maison Joseph Cartron selects the highest quality fruit varieties that are most faithful to the Burgundian spirit. These are all invitations to discover the best terroirs: vine peach from the Burgundian slopes, Mirabelle plum from Lorraine, Chalonnaise black cherry, apricot from the Monts du Lyonnais, Cavaillon melon… Without forgetting the Noir de Bourgogne variety, used in the production of all our Crèmes de Cassis including the legendary “Double Crème Joseph Cartron”, emblematic of our high standards and our difference. And even today, some 70% of our fruit comes from Burgundy.
Likewise, for Marc and Fine de Bourgogne, the vintages used come from the best appellations in Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune: Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanée, Chorey-Les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton…
