Light, bright salmon pink with traces of yellow in the glass. The bouquet is delicate, floral and fruited peonies followed by strawberry, raspberry, orange, pink grapefruit and pomegranate. The palate has a fresh, refined attack with subtly crisp notes of fresh pomegranate and pink grapefruit. Rounded, smooth, harmoniously full-bodied with a long, silky finish - built around a pronounced mineral core.
The 2012 Brut Rosé Belle Epoque is showing very well and must rank as one of the finest recent releases of this Chardonnay-based prestige cuvée from Perrier-Jouët. Offering up a pretty bouquet of white peach, spring flowers, strawberry, freshly baked bread and warm biscuits, it's medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless, its delicately fleshy core underpinned by lively acids and complemented by a beautifully refined mousse.
The 2010 Brut Rosé Belle Epoque bursts from the glass with a rich bouquet of peaches, strawberries, warm biscuits, smoky red berries and ginger. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with a generous core of fruit that's tempered by some delicate phenolics and underpinned by ripe acids. This is a charming, nicely balanced Rosé Belle Epoque.

Perrier-Jouët only produces wine in small volumes. Successive cellar masters have managed to preserve its historic treasures, including its first vintages, like Perrier-Jouët 1825 – the oldest champagne currently in existence.
