Produced entirely from Domaine holdings in the lieux-dits of Les Houlières, La Rousselle, Les Charmes and Les Enseignères, Boillot's 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village mingles aromas of citrus oil, peach, white flowers, fresh bread, and oyster shell in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, bright, and chiselled, with tangy acids and a penetrating finish, it has turned out very well.
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Village is superb, unfurling in the glass with aromas of white peach, clear honey, citrus oil, and fresh pastry. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample, and textural, with lively acids and a long, precise finish. As I noted last year, it's derived from the superior lieux-dits of Les Houlières, La Rousselle, Les Charmes and Les Enseignères.

Henri Boillot's 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Village is a success in this vintage, revealing a pretty bouquet of citrus oil, toasted nuts, spice, and vanilla pod. On the palate, the wine is layered, multidimensional and concentrated, with a bright line of succulent acidity and impressive length and textural elegance.

Ud over sine hvidvine producerer Henri-Boillot også nogle enestående rødvine.

Chardonnay er den primære drue til hvidvin i Bourgogne og udgør 48 % af vinstokkene og 68 % af produktionen. Chardonnay sætter pris på Bourgognes mergeljord, som giver den delikate blomster-, frugt- og mineralaromaer og en fyldig smag. Aligoté er den anden hvide drue og tegner sig for 6 % af produktionen. {Læs mere om den gamle Aligoté-drue i Bourgogne.}
