"The pale rose color of the 2012 Brut Rosé indicates a very pure and delicate bouquet. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, pretty intense and fruity Rosé with a long and precise finish. It's concentrated, tightly woven and pretty firm, but less finesse-full and delicate than the NV Rosé. This Rosé is still young, tastes a bit sweeter and more fruit-intense, and reveals a certain phenolic character in the finish." - Stephan Reinhardt
Founded in 1838, Deutz is still situated in one of the region’s greatest villages, Aÿ, where the family – now represented by Jean Lallier, sixth generation descendant of founder William Deutz – owns 42 hectares vineyards and a magnificent residence in Bellepoque style.
In 1993 the House was taken over by another financial partner, Louis Roederer champagne House, though the two kept operating independently and have different styles and characteristics.
