On the eve of the 1997 harvest, Jean-Hubert DELON bought Château Nénin, until then owned by his cousins, the Despujol family, and had been doing so since 1847. From this takeover, a profound restructuring was undertaken. The pruning and training of the vines have been resumed, the soil drained, the vines planted or uprooted, the equipment modernized.
The aging and storage cellars have been completely refurbished, enlarged and air-conditioned. A new vat room, equipped with the most advanced equipment, was built to crown the total transformation of the property.
