"The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace, from a seven-acre vineyard compared to the eight acres of Volcanic Hill, exhibits a saturated purple color, gorgeous crème de cassis and blueberry notes, underlying minerality, stunning full-bodied opulence, sweet tannin and, again, great concentration and balance. This is another 25- to 30-year wine that will hit its peak in about a decade. Nevertheless, it’s accessible already." - Robert Parker

"The Red Rock Terrace Vineyard consists of seven acres of iron-rich, red soils. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Rock Terrace reveals intense, ripe, impressive creme de cassis and boysenberry fruit notes. Fuller-bodied, richer and more muscular than the Gravelly Meadow, it is stunningly powerful and pure with multiple layers, abundant tannin and structure, and extravagant amounts of fruit and glycerin. Still an infant, this beauty requires 7-10 years of cellaring and should keep for three decades. " - Robert Parker

Diamond Creek

Onshore Cellars - ICONIC Producer

Founded in 1968, Diamond Creek Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Napa Valley’s iconic wines and was California’s first vineyard planted exclusively with Cabernet Sauvignon. Founder Al Brounstein was a visionary pioneer who defied modern conventions and planted Bordeaux varietals on the secluded Diamond Mountain. The three vineyards produce a small amount of long lived wines that are elegant with great depth and richness.
